Our website generally can be used without providing any personal data. If personal data (such as name, address, eMail-address) is collected it is, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. This data is not disclosed to a third party without your explicit permission.
Please note that data transmission via Internet (for example via mail) can show security vulnerability and cannot be completely protected from being accessed by third parties.
The usage of the published contact data within the framework of imprint obligations by third parties for sending non-requested advertising and information material is disclaimed. The operators of this website reserve the right to take legal action in case of transmission of non-requested advertising material, e.g. spam mail.
Acceptance of cookies is not a requirement to visit our website. Cookies are small files which are stored on your device and save specific settings and data exchange with our system via your browser. Generally there are 2 different types of cookies, so-called session-cookies which are automatically deleted as soon as you close your browser or log out and temporary/permanent cookies which are stored on your device for a longer period or for an indefinite time. This storage helps us to structure the website and offers for you appropriately and makes usage easier for you, by storing certain of your entries so you don’t have to continually repeat them, for instance.
How can I prevent cookies to be stored?
By changing the settings of your browser you may activate that the storage of cookies is only allowed if you agree. If you only allow so called “schlafgut-cookies” but not cookies of appointed third parties, you may select the setting “blocking cookies of third parties”.
We recommend to log out completely after using shared computers which are set up in a way that they accept cookies and flash cookies.
The provider of this website automatically collects and stores information which is automatically transmitted by the browser in so called server-log files. These are:
- Type of the browser/ Version of the browser
- Used operating system
- Referrer URL
- Host name of accessing computer
- Time of server inquiry
This data is not assignable to individual people. There is no aggregation of this data with data from other sources. We reserve to check the data retrospectively if there are concrete indications of illegal use.
Please note that Google Analytics added the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” to guarantee anonymized gathering of IP-Addresses (so-called IP-Masking)
Internet services concerning Facebook & Co
To configure our internet services as attractive and user-friendly as possible we work with selected partners (e.g. Facebook, Google, Twitter, YouTube, …). These platforms temporary can be integrated in our website by plugins.
If you visit a page of our website with such a plugin your browser will connect with the server of the plugin. This is primarily to show the content of the plugin. In this case the partner gets your IP-Address and further device-specific information. In practice your IP-Address can’t be associated with your name. Under concrete circumstances the partner can store cookies on your device, which are deleted when you close the browser. In your browser settings you can decide whether you allow cookies or not. The meaning of this is explained in an example of Facebook:
By integrating the plugin, Facebook receives the information that a user with a specific IP-Address is visiting the website at the moment. Since you simultaneously are logged in to Facebook this visit can be assigned to your Facebook-account. You can read about the purpose and size of data-gathering, the further processing and usage of Facebook as well as your rights and configuration options to protect your privacy in Facebook’s privacy and change it there.
We installed a two-stepped solution for likes (Facebook); +1 (Google) and tweet-buttons (Twitter): If you want to press like, tweet or +1 you first have to click on the button and activate it. Only if you activate it you will be connected to the Facebook-, Twitter- or Google-Server and you can recommend the article to your friends with a second click.
